T-type thermocouple ultra-thin wire is a fine thermocouple wire used for temperature measurement, featuring rapid response and high precision. The following is a detailed introduction:

Basic composition: T-type thermocouple ultra-thin wire consists of two metal wires of different materials, with the positive electrode being copper and the negative electrode being constantan (a copper-nickel alloy).

Temperature measurement range: Generally, the measurement range of T-type thermocouple micro-wires is from -200℃ to 900℃. Different insulating materials can affect their operating temperature range. For example, the operating temperature range of T-type thermocouple micro-wires insulated with polyvinyl chloride is from -25℃ to 105℃, and that insulated with Teflon is from -60℃ to 260℃.
Insulating Material: Polyesterimide is the preferred insulating material for T-type thermocouple wires. It bonds well with the two legs of the thermocouple, possesses good mechanical strength, and has a maximum temperature rating of 180°C. The maximum temperature rating of polyimide insulation can reach up to 240°C.

Application of ultra-thin thermocouple sensor:

In the medical field, it can be used for monitoring temperature, duration, and heat propagation to surrounding tissues in ablation therapy. It can also be applied in tissue shrinkage treatments, such as varicose vein treatment. Its ultra-small size (AWG#36 to AWG#44) meets the precise requirements of medical devices

2. Fast response speed: The response time is typically only a fraction of a second, enabling rapid detection of temperature changes. It is suitable for applications that are sensitive to temperature variations.

3. Good flexibility: The wire is thin and flexible, making it easy to install in confined spaces or complex structures, and adaptable to various special measurement environments.

4. Non-magnetic: Type T thermocouple wires are non-magnetic and can be used in magnetic applications without interfering with measurement results.

5. Good linearity: Within the temperature range of -200℃ to 350℃, the thermoelectric potential exhibits an approximately linear relationship with temperature, simplifying the calibration process and reducing measurement errors.
