Nickel-chromium 8020 (Cr20Ni80) flat wire/strip is a high-resistance heating alloy.

Its core advantages are high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high resistivity, flat shape for heat dissipation and good fit.

It is mainly used in various precision/high-power heating elements, resistors, sensors and high-temperature structural components.

 

Intrinsic Advantages of the Material (Ni80Cr20 Alloy)

1. High Resistivity: Approximately 1.09 Ω・mm²/m, resulting in high heating efficiency and shorter length for the same power output.

2. High Temperature and Oxidation Resistance: Long-term operating temperature can reach 1150–1200℃, forming a dense Cr₂O₃ film on the        surface, making it resistant to oxidation at high temperatures and ensuring a long service life.

3. Good High-Temperature Strength: Resistant to deformation and creep at high temperatures, exhibiting strong structural stability.

4. Non-Magnetic and Good Plasticity: Excellent cold/hot workability, easy to draw, roll, and weld, allowing for ultra-thin/ultra-narrow specifications.

5. Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to atmospheric conditions, weak acids and alkalis, and most neutral atmospheres, suitable for vacuum/protective atmosphere environments.
