Resistohm 145 or FeCrAl 145 is a ferritic alloy of the FeCrAl family, which can be used up to 1300°C in case of big diameters.
Resistohm 145 or FeCrAl 145 can be used for resistances in electric furnaces for ceramic, chemical and metallurgic industries, and for all applications where it is necessary to apply very high temperature of use. Life time of Resistohm 145 is better than those of NiCr in case of atmospheres containing sulfur and particularly if they are oxidizing.
The same material in China is 0Cr21Al6Nb which with the same resistivity of 1.45μΩ/m at 20ºC.
Resistance heating strip for furnace heating elements and other heat-generating applications. The strip is normally delivered in cold-rolled condition with ground surface.
Characters:
1. Excellent form stability
2. Excellent corrosion resistance in most atmospheres
3. High thermal conductivity
4. No scaling and impurities
5. Longer tube life
Iron-chromium-aluminium alloys (FeCrAl alloys) available as complete ready-to-install assemblies according to almost any customer specification.
